Two levels of expertise
In Aruota e-commerce users can select the right tyres by configuring some specific parameters (height, length, diameter) or by choosing the car model of interest (easier for less expert users).
The functional prototype was designed to simulate the whole purchase flow. This was important to test the navigation with real users before the development.
Visual aids in product page
The most relevant parameters of the tyres (summer/winter, adherence, noise degree, etc) were represented with icons to ease the recognition process.
Mounting the tyres is a problem for many users: to foster the online purchases the e-commerce offers an appointment in a specialised centre near the user’s location.
